I titled this blog...Taking Care of ME because that is my goal. I have spent so many of the last few years taking such great care of everyone else around me. I am 36 years old, I am a third grade teacher, and I have three young sons. So you can see that so much of my day revolves around others. I really would not have it any other way! I am rediscovering though that if I am taking care of me...then I am in a much better place to take care of everyone else. So...I am putting it out there for all to see. I need a place that I can journal about what steps I am taking to make ME better. I need to journal about what I am really good at and what has not worked well for me. I think as we get older we lose sight of who we are. I think it is very easy for women to do that. I am a wife, daughter, sister, mom, friend, teacher, and ....the list goes on. I will always be those things. I want more though. I want to accomplish some things that are just for me. I want to wake up and feel that I am doing the best for me that I can. So THE JOURNEY starts.
